I took the photo of this hydrant at the LeRoy Oaks Forest Preserve in St. Charles, IL a few years ago. I was out there to take photos of the barns for the barn collage on the digital art page of this site. You can find these hydrants at a lot of forest preserves. I often stop to get some water at them when cycling or jogging when I’m back in IL. It was printed using a gel plate and acrylic paints.
